Visit Put-in-Bay โThe 352-foot Doric column at Put-in-Bay honors Commodore Perry's 1813 victory in the Battle of Lake Erie and the peace between the U.S., Britain, and Canada that followed. The visitor center tells the story; the view does the rest.

Visit Miller Ferry โHigh-speed passenger catamarans from downtown Port Clinton directly into downtown Put-in-Bay โ about 25 minutes dock to dock โ with additional service to Kelleys Island and Cedar Point. The fast way to an island evening.

Visit Cedar Point โGuiding sailors since 1822, Marblehead Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in continuous operation on the Great Lakes โ and the most photographed spot on the Ohio shore. Climb the 77 steps in season; picnic on the rocks anytime.
Visit the Lighthouse โOur big backyard: a 1,500-foot sand swimming beach, marsh trails full of herons and eagles, picnic shelters, disc golf, and some of the prettiest sunsets on the lake โ all just down the road from the park.
Visit East Harbor โThe largest of Ohio's Lake Erie islands and the quiet one โ glacial grooves carved by the ice age, a state park with a sand beach, island wineries, and slow roads made for bicycles and golf carts. A perfect day trip from the park.
Visit Kelleys Island โThe Walleye Capital of the World and the Ottawa County seat โ a working lake town with fish fries, coffee shops, a riverwalk, and the famous New Year's Eve Walleye Drop. Groceries, marinas, bait shops, and everything a summer needs.
Visit Port Clinton โNo boat? No problem. Licensed charter captains run out of Port Clinton and Catawba marinas all season for walleye, perch, and smallmouth โ tackle, bait, and local knowledge included. The regional visitors bureau keeps a current charter directory.
Find a Charter โSchedules, fares, and seasonal hours change โ always check the operator's site before you go. And residents: ask at the office (Lot 25) for the locals' list of favorite fish fries and sunset spots.
